From a negotiating standpoint, I feel we should be moving away from this - not towards it.
I don't entirely disagree with you. But flying less hours and forcing my company to hire more pilots doesn't exactly raise MY w2.

Yes it is a good deal for the company, and if you want more money, it is a good deal for pilots willing to work more.
