Yep. Former Q guy. Don't know the details about the decision to be in the right seat though.
They were short on FOs and fat on CAs when he finished sim. They offered for him to wait for CA ioe or do FO ioe right away and be tdy with CA pay for a few months until they could get him back to the left seat.
