You didn't hear it from me. My crystal ball doesn't lie, check back at the end of the year. Ask some of the ExpressJet pilots hired in the last couple years if they are still on reserve. You will be surprised, some are on reserve more than 2 years.[/QUOTE]

This statement is inaccurate. I'm on the ERJ side and can honestly say that there is nobody with 2 year seniority on reserve unless that person wants to be. I got just over 2 years a 2 months and can hold a line comfortably in all bases. In IAH, where I'm based, I have 80 lineholders behind me, then on average 50 more relief lines, and then come reserves. There are, however, people who got hired at the end of the last hiring wave that ended in May of 2012, and have been sitting reserve since then. This is obviously normal for any airline that stops hiring. The first class this year started in March, so these people will slowly get off reserve as the newhires start coming on line. I don't know where you're getting the info from, but you're obviously misinformed. I'd recommend in the future to not give out info about an airline unless you work there. It creates a lot of misinformation and serves no good to people who have legitimate questions.
