To the op....both companies have good and bad points...I am XJT 6.5 year Ewr FO...back in the end of 06 to early of 07 I had 4 job offers in 2 weeks...XJT, eagle, Colgan, and comair...I choose XJT...you will only know if you made the right decision when you walk away from your last flight at 65... Ie- 2 years ago I though if I had gone to Colgan I would have been a captain in 08 and now on the jet at pncl but would be dealing with all sorts of bs there during a time where I was getting married kids home etc...could have gone to eagle and been Boston based but that closed down and would have been JFK...comair, do I even say what I would be doing now...and XJT, hasn't been the easiest place but it sure isn't the worst...you just have to pick one and make your bed there because all regionals suck as the business model is flawed and no matter which one you work for the grass always looks greener on the other side but it's not...it's the same bs everywhere...go to XJT, rah, wherever will take you and where you don't have to 2 leg commute and possibly drive because not commuting make the regional life doable...I gave commuting up for a 3.5 hour drive and couldn't be happier...I finish a trip at 11 pm I still go home...remember work to live not live to work...good luck and just my 2 pennies...
