I would guess that scope will get trumped by M&A. There's only so much money to go around and I think the greater concern is Merger protection versus Scope. Just a gues though.
This is my theory on how C Series outsourcing comes to Delta.
Once permitted at Alaska, it will have to be bought back if Alaska merges. SkyWest's MRJ order makes more and more sense if ALPA sells out at Alaska.
