Really, *******? You could honestly say that 3 years ago you felt that UAL would have made it and CAL was on its last legs? Maybe I was living under a rock, but EVERY publication I read showed UAL to be on its death bed. Before Age 65 CAL was hiring and movement was swift. I had UAL furloughs on our jumpseat who thought they'd NEVER see the cockpit of a UAL airplane again because the airline was in such dire straits. All of a sudden these same furloughs have better career expectations than a CAL working pilot?!?!!!
