Actually there is a reason.....There is no airline called the Alaska Air Group...It is a holding company......Alaska Airlines inc. is the airline in question. Horizon Air Industries is a completely separate airline....
Which is exactly why we have no scope. We have scope that says all Alaska airlines flying will be done by Alaska pilots. What we don't have is scope that covers the Alaska Air Group. So basically if we don't get a contract that addresses this issue we are S.O.L.
