ALPA has more strength in numbers, maybe your narrow mind can't wrap around that fact but here we are, a lot of us have 10, 15 plus years in good standing with ALPA. Another shocker United is now a combo of UAL and CAL, management, pilots, FAs etc. live with it, make it a great company, your livelihood depends on it.
ALPA wanted 2 things from the cal pilots, dues money and keep cal from acting like an RJ outfit. Otherwise they would have let cal die in the slow death spiral it was in. Make no mistake in thinking cal is/was the prize - it was a tool used by the bankers to extract more money out of UAL. What you need to live with is the cal way is dying and will be replaced with the UAL way.
