I'm not sure how they're treated in their environment. They're at a totally separate location off of the airport property. I can only speak for Flight Crew interaction which, is limited to the phone and thats pretty much it. I can say without a doubt that sometimes and, naturally so, there is tension on the phone from the Crew towards the Representative. They're responsible for arranging hotel accommodations, transportation, meals if required, informing the crew of rest assignment, show time, schedule for the following day and more. With regard to hotel accommodations and transportation, this doesn't always happen on time or even correctly.
