But in the mean time, I choose not to pick up Premium pay. I don't know how guys find the time to do it anyways. I always wonder how guys have 110-120 hours of credit when I look at the available reserves. What I do think is in poor taste is the guys that make deals with the schedulers...like I will fly this trip tomorrow at premium pay but you have to buy my trip that I'm no longer legal for because of it. I flew with a guy from MCO that showed up on my trip deadheading in from IAH. He was one of the deal makers who had scheduling on speed dial. I thought he was a horror...but not necessarily a scab (although he did have one of those 3 digit numbers with a letter...but apparently they are not all scabs as this guy was very quick to point out).
Not sure I fully answered your question. But for full disclosure...I traded into a 27 hour 4 day this week that operates the same days as my 20 hour 4 day. I didn't give up any days off to do it, but I got an extra 7 hours of pay. The company still needs a reserve to fly my original 4 day.
Sonny...was this a faux pas on my part?

No....my post had more to do with the fact we have out of touch A-320 Capt's that have NO IDEA that we still have pilots on furlough.
Pull up the ladder I got mine......alive and well.
