Several years back, I remember reading that FS and then CEO of DAL had a closed door meeting with Senator McCain concerning the age 60 rule. My guess at the time was that a rule change would be a windfall for the Corporations due to the immediate overfunding of pilot pension plans the day the change takes effect. DAL is now a non-issue, but I'd bet FS has at least some input, if not direct influence. Big business IS gov't....it's just the way our nation works.
