There's an Aero Crew fair in ATL in about 3 months. I'm about an hour away and should have about 1000TT, with all other ATP requirements met. I'm flying about 90-100hrs a month so who knows what could happen. I do need to get that written taken care of.
I personally wouldn't bother them until you meet their minimum requirements, and I would guess that they would politely tell you the same thing if you visited them at the job fair.
If I was in your shoes, I would fly as many hours as I can to get to the mandatory 1,500 hrs and get that written done. Don't just pass it either. If you already have your ATP, no one cares about the score on your written, but if this is your first 121 job you need to convince them that you study hard and make the effort. A score in the high 90's will deffinately go in your favor as opposed to just scraping a pass.
Once you meet their minimums, apply to a regional that you DON'T want to work for (like Republic) for the interview experience, then get that app into SkyWest.
You can tell them about how you were itching to meet them at the job fair during your interview.
