I'm sure having two separate pay scales and the division it would produce amongst the pilot ranks (ie 3rd attempt at a CBA) has factored into their calculus. Couple that with a new PEA with A320 "family" language or not...who would sign it, and who wouldn't, and we're ripe for another failed union drive. I personally wouldn't count on any form of true-up or single pay scale; it just doesn't work to the company's benefit.
