So here's where I'm at. Interviewed with Wiggins. I was told I had a great interview but there was a pilot with much more turbine and 135 experience than me. They said they would love to have me on board when the time is right. Interviewed with Amtrak and CSX. Got a job with CXS as a freight conductor with an upgrade to engineer. For us pilots that's first officer to captain. Great benefits, perfect retirement, but horrible QOL. Pilots think they have it bad. Look at a railroader's schedule. Have one last interview and that is with Piedmont tomorrow. If I don't get that it's off to the railroad or sending out more applications and resumes since quite a few other regionals have opened up.
