This is different. I'll bet the Pinnacle pilots are looked at a lot closer. They will be at the interview due to a contractual deal their union made, not their qualifications.
Okay, a guy that's been flying DAL passengers for X number of years is interviewing for a job flying DAL passengers and his qualifications are in question.
