The training department is better than other places, they work with you and because PSA is small you aren't treated like a number as a new hire. You'll interact with many people quickly. Training is straight forward, curriculum style. Not AQP. Maybe someday. Lol

As compared to other regionals obviously if you live near a base it's good. If not, pay years 1-4 is at the top part of the regional scale and around the same as SKW, Wisconsin, horizon. At republic it would take you 4 years to get to our year 3 pay, having not been close at all the first 4 years, and oh by the way your pay tops out after 4 years.

PSA isn't a bad place to work. It's a regional- grass will always look greener elsewhere however one thing I like is that we are never really in the rumor mill much and are pretty steady... Not really as worried about our future here as guys at Wisconsin and others are. The merger has the potential to change things for the better or for the worse, so it's really a crapshoot. I've had a good time here. Others will quote me and bash me but hey... We each have our own experiences. I like the pilot group a lot and enjoy 90% of the crew I work with. That's enough to make me happy!
With the issue of not enough FOs to get the upgrade train moving, what is the current reserve situation looking like?
