Psa captain pay is on par with or greater than every other regional out there. The fo pay however is still below Wisconsin, skywest, expressjet. We do have some soft pay, like cancellation pay, sdo, kind of a min day which starts in a year, hot reserve credit along with some other stuff like $400/year uniform allowance etc. reserve rules have improved greatly I think. If you live within 2 hours of day, clt, tys its a no brainer. However, I am not as optimistic about the future as some on here. We are a mainly 50 seater airline, airplanes which leases begin expiring in 2017 I think. Its no secret that the 50 seaters are gone when that time comes. Mesa skywest and rah are gaining airframes for Usair while we stay status quo. Parker has not shown any interest in investing in the wholly owns and I dont think that will change. Why lease airplanes when you can just hire mesa rah etc? So if youre looking for a very temporary gig, come to psa, but if youre not moved on 5 years expect to be applying at another regional.
