Thats not arumor, thats straight from GR's mouth, our assistant chief pilot. They figure high time guys will jump ship first chance, and theyre right. Also you may encounter some attitude problems from some. Right seat captains and such. Too many years in this business is sure to do that to someone.
Some of us 12-14 year military folks seem to be in this weird "too few hours to be competitive at the majors, too many hours to get a call from a regional" gray area.
I applied to everyone and have been called for an interview by only one regional... Certainly perplexing. Maybe it's that speeding ticket from 2007. Yep, it's got to be that...
