There have only ever been 2 757 crashes, and none have been CO. Cali-American 757, and the stall/spin due to blocked static ports after a wash--some airline down south somewhere.
The 757 has one of the best safety records in the history of aviation.
Three:
Puerto Plata, DR and again out of Lima, Peru. Both of these were due to unreliable airspeed indications. Cali-AA is the third B757 accident.
