Shy's point isn't that good, however some history of your merger partner needs to be corrected:
Pinnacle continued to take deliveries of CRJ200s for over a year after the 3701 accident.
They got the contract to fly CRJ900s about a year and a half after the CRJ200 deliveries were completed.
