Delta's interview process asks quite a few questions about family life. People who had a history of divorce were asked about it. Interestingly more than one part of the process independently and objectively pinged on the same issue.

I've no idea if Delta looks at a credit report, but I'd almost bet they do.

Who knows how they are going to run things this time. A lot has changed since the merger with NWA.

In the past they were very thorough. They want folks with a stable home that are going to show up to work and fly airplanes without distractions or drama. One aspect of the job is being 6,000 miles away from home in a place where you are a target. Some flights require 4 man crews. One guy gets into a mess and an airplane and 300 pax are stuck on the wrong side of the planet.
