People from Alberta just have gotten lucky recently with their oil, but the first thing they do is get out and move to BC. But, worst of all, it's that 'we're better than you' attitiude that you guys have. I'm with bus_canuck on this one, Beautiful British Columbia beats "Wild Rose Country" every time.

Also, there is no way Calgary has the largest American population in Canada. Per capita, I garentee its Victoria, followed by Vancouver. In Victoria, every second car in from WA or OR, and no, they're not all just visitors.

Well we are going to have oil for a long time my friend! I dont know if you non-albertans know that Alberta has the largest oil reserve in the world in the Athabasca oil sands, Its even bigger then the Saudi's conventional oil reserve. So your oh so wonderful BC can keep begging for scraps from alberta like the rest of this country(except Ontario).

"first thing they do is get out and move to BC" Yes because BC is the hotspot in Canada now huh? People from all over Canada move to BC to find work
Can high school drop outs make more then half the pilots on this forum in BC? Nevermind I guess BC has plenty of them considering BC is the marijauna capital of the world! Thats something to be proud of

Ya we have that attitude because we ARE! When we support the rest of this socialist welfare country off of our Oil. THe thanks we get for it is being miss treated by this country for decades. And its the rest of canadas attitude that Alberta is worthless that pushes us to a closer relationship with the states then the rest of Canada. Just remember what happens if the rest of Canada keeps pushing us around.... back in the 70's when the liberals thought they could take our oil money. Our Premier went on National TV and said he was cutting off oil shipments to the rest of canada, with every albertan sporting a "let the eastern basterds freeze in the dark" bumber sticker!

Also Calgary has been said to have the largest American population in Canada. Which makes sense considering the OIL!! And Alberta is pretty much the only pro American place in Canada. (by the way you cant count stonned out hippie draft dodgers as americans for BC's population, those guys shoulda been lined up in front of a firing squad like the deserters they are)
