What would it take to add $5 to each ticket? I don't think $5 extra is a deal breaker (especially considering these regional flights go into airports where there is little to no competition e.g. ORD-SPI or MSN-HIB). You could add $32,000 a year to flight crew pay per year. I figure it as a half full 50-seater (25*$5/3 crew members = $41.66 per leg). Given 4 4-days per month with 16 legs per trip ( avg. 768 legs/year * $41.60 extra per leg = $31,948.80)
