Fine. Glad this works for you. But it works FOR YOU.

Put yourself in this person's shoes: 32 years old, aviation degree, 5000 hours, two types, furloughed, looking for fourth airline job, wife with not great paying job. No majors calling. Applied to 61 pilot jobs and counting with calls from three regionals and one part 135 operation with no pay above $35,000.

Just go McDonald's and wait for a call?

Honestly, what is your advice for that person? Not your advice for yourself.
