You have less than 1500hrs? I thought you were a much higher time pilot than that. LOL. How many people are less than 1500, and what plane are the majority of these low time pilots on?
I'm in the Saab but ill be fine. There's a mix I think most low time guys are on the Saab, not sure what's left on the 1900.
Nothing like reserve to slow progress in FLL when I first got hired. Most low time pilots hired were going to be fine but shifting in schedules put a lot of them on reserve when they held lines after a while. So unfortunately for most it's just a luck of the draw.
