Well said! I have to say, I have no plans on doing the flying gig till I am 65. 55 was always the age I had planned to retire at. Plan being the key word of course. I was at a regional before, and when I started at 21 bucks a hour commuting east coast to west coast on reserve in a crash pad with 8 days off, that was tougher than any day here in Dubai. I have a turn today, and back to put the kids in bed. Not running to the other side of Ohare to get that last flight home by 2 a.m. Like I said before, and we have plenty of American friends in DSO who's kids have gotten into great universities back home and think Dubai was a huge building block for their kids success. But you are right, if I had a crystal ball, ask me in ten years. But it beats where I was before with no question, and we haven't looked back! Take care!
