Enlighten us how AA will shrink and US AIrways will grow just so the 824 don't flow from the regional who will park airplanes and lose flying as everyone else picks up the flying!
It's very simple, the training department at AA is backlogged. AMR actually tried to invite the last number of numbered guys ahead of schedule and just at the last minute over 30 AA pilots on furlough accepted recall. The class is full of AA pilots and the training center is already backlogged. This will likely be the tune for August as well since the payout date gets closer those who were waiting for junior folks to get on property first so they had a little cushion when they hit the line accept. But please tell me how US Airways management who will lead the combined umbrella will just crap all over the MOU and **** on the 824 agreement.
Parker has repeatedly said that it will be first QT 2015 before they have a single certificate.
