Crowne Plaza in MIA has a sign in the bathroom asking to please leave the unused portion of shampoo/conditioner on the counter so they themselves can donate it to their special cause. No ethical dilemma there. Why would another hotel be any different? Now if you raid housekeepings cart, that's a bit different.
