Jonny Drama

I was based in DTW for about 3 years and have been in MSP for a little more than 2 now, even did 3 months in MEM right out of training. DTW used to have a lot of turns when I was there; BNA, SDF, EWR, JFK, ORF, BWI, JAX, SAT, IAH, MTY, MYR, to name a few. I just see it as logistically tough for LAX being that it is another 1.5 hours past SLC, and that SFO flying will create a lot of irregular ops! (far more than SNA or ONT did) They will open that LAX bases a couple months before Delta starts hiring, and I get to start commuting to NYC or DTW, what a tease! That said, I'm not rooting for nor predicting a DTW closure, a pull down of MSP flying could just as easily happen. Especially considering Pinnacle is about to get more 76 seat aircraft. But I do think a DTW closure is more likely now than it was 2 or 3 years ago.
