Not to mention that when there's hiring/advancement going on, guys bypass far more than when things are stagnant. When there's no movement we tend to grab whatever chairs we can. Hiring, significant retirements and even a little bit of growth will make magic happen. We may even see some pilots getting Captain seats "out of seniority"
I think this will definately happen. Sr FOs lounging on wb's will get jumped by jr guys bidding nb capt seats. By the time these sr FOs upgrade to their wb capt seat, they will be in their mid-late 50s and relatively close to retirement. I think....
