I was thinking the same thing. I heard from a LCA last week, both Boeing and Airbus came to ATL to put on a sales pitch. Boeing was pitching the 777-300 as the replacement to the 747. Not sure what Airbus was pitching, Richard said he's not interested in the A350, so I'm guessing they were pitching the A330 in some new variation.

The LCA mentioned there is a Board of Directors meeting in July, they may wait until then to make the announcement, amid the glowing earnings reports. I'm pretty sure DAL's fiscal year runs June-June, so they will be announcing some big earnings this year, obviously, come the July BOD meeting.
