Thank you Cgull. You nailed it. If a pilot group really wants to be UNIONIZED, dump ALPA and bring the teamsters in. If you want an "association" keep ALPA but dump dues and assessments and high paying staffers for member volunteers. It seems the "rag" is more about self congratulations than dealing with what faces the pilot industry as threats, except for finding the "threat du jour" to keep you riled up. Solution to all their problems.....write your congress person.
