Know of at least one LUAL pilot hired in '05 gave up LUAL number, to date, looks like it was a good move.
So the LUAL list treats the furloughed pilots as active pilots, but in reality we don't know when and if so some of these pilots will ever return. Many have decided LCAL makes a lot more sense right now.
