That's weird, ATP didn't tell me that when I called up to ask about their accelerated professional pilot program (which includes the instructor ratings) last year. Plus I have friends at my local FBO who did instructor ratings there and came straight back to the FBO to instruct. I bet if you wanted to you could just walk right out. Or is ATP hurting for instructors??? Anyway you have many more options than just ATP.
