Answer: Drive to Central BBQ and get your own BBQ for the trip. 20 min roundtrip from the Democrate lot.
As you said, this thread started out as MEM catering and really had nothing to do with BBQ................but as always these threads go off on many tangents drifiting from the original subject. Back to your point, MEM has some fine BBQ places, but the locals (many of whom haven't been West of the Mississippi river or North of Dyersberg ) think that MEM BBQ is all there is..................I was just pointing out that what 4600 of the 4800 FedEx Pilots already know..............There is Life beyond MEM ( Actually a better life) and in My opinion there is Better BBQ too..........

Fortunately for me (and hopfeully you too someday) I am senior enough to never set foot in MEM except for recurrent training and an occasional Jumpseat home.
