Just asking because I thought you said something about your vacation getting cancelled because of a base change, which I thought meant the base change was recent, thereby meaning a more recent base closure than I was aware of. I feel bad for anyone whose base was closed, been there myself and it sucks(3, 5 , or more years ago)!
Especially since this is one of the biggest negative effects on quality of life, and even more so when the base closes for NO good reason.
