Maybe I grew up in a totally different generation but going a month without a laptop would just about make me go insane. I envy you people who can do it.

They give you a CD with all of the systems powerpoints from class and a flow trainer on it. Having a laptop would be seriously helpful. I did a lot of studying from those powerpoints and mostly learned the flows using that CD.

The systems test is made from the powerpoints, not from the systems book. John basically told us the first day not to use the book because it's outdated.
