The previous (standard) 5-year contracts were/are worth $125,000, so the 50% lump sum is/was $67,500.
Incorrect...they changed that in the mid-2000s, 5 year, 25 per, no up front payment. If they are using the upfront method now, then things are far worse than they tried to intimate...
Anyone choosing to take this bonus who even thinks they wouldn't like sticking around for another 10 years of this clown show deserves what they get...squadrons closing, idiots running the show, fewer hours.
