Pilot shortage is about to hit like a ton of bricks because people are tired of the AF clownshow...I bumped up against the age waiver back in the day and less than two years later it was up to 30. If you want it, try for it but plan for something else. Also...you would enjoy Guard flying much better as active duty is about to take it right on the chin due to the idiocracy that has developed. Be warned...
