No, SkyWest has never changed anything in this document without either a SAPA or entire pilot group vote. They have interpreted policies within this document differently than was intended, but name one airline that hasn't done this. There is a process for grievances and the like contained within our "contract". Also, the PPM is a legally enforceable document between the company and SAPA under the Railway Labor Act. And no, we are not "at-will employees". Once we are off the probationary period we are entitled to a disciplinary and representation system that is very similar to other union carriers.
