That's BS. They want Skywest to do bad because these union ALPA regionals finally see that they have been played all along, and wasting 1.9% salary while ALPA protects mainline at expense of regionals. Look at Deltas new PWA contract, it clearly spelled the end of a lot of regional ALPA jobs. Skywest is nonunion, with the highest paid regional pilots in the country, and with smart management. Others are jealous + misery loves company.
Highest paid regional pilots? Not really.

That is proof that they would have been worse off if they were non-union because they wouldn't even need the permission of a judge.
The judge was having a bad day. And all he said was basically I can't approve this, why don't you guys talk it out more, and if they come back with the same concession offer, I'll have to approve it.
As for non-union being worse off, yeah SkyWest is doing really bad right?
Really? The judge was having a bad day? You are missing the point ENTIRELY! That is, that if they were non-union, it wouldn't matter if the judge was having a bad decade. Management would've imposed whatever they wanted (that the judge denied or worse). That was my only point and had nothing to do with Skywest.
