Maybe but I agree with you on that; this won't fix anything. It could be they saw how AF/KLM dominated DL, got a 3 year blank check and then a default rebalance off the low the whole system was headed towards anyway for a year followed by another 3 year blank check and the addition of all cargo ops that don't even count against ESK's and said "da, ve vant to get in on dat!" and are acting as if they have leverage.
