Thank you? I think. From what are you protecting us exactly? We are vulnerable? To what? The gate agent or ramper who appears with their walkie-talkie so loud my ears ring? Or other flight attendants who barge in and blurt out random statements right in the middle of our checklists?
Most will tell you we welcome little johnnie who wrestles away from mommies grasp to come up and say hello, or the older gentleman who used to be a WWII pilot who wanted to say "boy, instruments have changed since I've been in the cockpit".
If a hostile takeover at the gate by a pack of trained al-Qaeda militant Islamists with wheels chocked and engines off, then ok. But how do you propose to do that?
