The irony of leaving one alliance for the other because somehow STAR ALLIANCE would have lower ticket prices. I would be more excited if they left than stayed. I figure we may have at least a chance of adding flying versus just code sharing it away.
It's not like any US carrier says "you know what is missing from our network...Russia". The demand for Americans heading to Russia on a daily basis must be very low unless it's to NYC or MIA.
