Skywest is my third regional. First shut down now second filed bk and I wasn't sticking around for crap pay and crappy contract. Both were alpa carriers. At my time at the alpa carriers one being pinnacle you could get nothing done. Call someone on the phone ten times and no answer. Send five emails and no response. CrewTrac treated us like a bunch of monkeys. Since I have been at Skywest not one of these things has happened. You have a problem with payroll call and they answer and fix the problem. Crew support is friendly and will accommodate drops and swaps even for reserves. Even with pinnacles new contract Skywest can still operate cheaper than pinnacle simply due to efficiency. I voted no on pinnacles contract, and I didn't sit around complaining how bad pinnacle was. I left and came to Skywest to have a better life. It is a shame that other regionals want Skywest to get "theirs" just because they are stuck in a crappy position.
