Year over year it doesn't seem bad but look back a few years and all we can do is see "how it used to be". At this point I'm tired of watching them make things worse. Give us a 20 year contract and go the F--- away. Quit giving up work rules, RJs and profit sharing when the company is making more money than it has pockets to put it in. Sign us a 20 year deal and go away. No more LOAs, side letters, nothing. It just gets worse. Stop it! Sign us a 20 year deal and go away.
Couldn't agree more. Guy I was flying with and I were talking about this. If all we're going to get is COLA raises along with scope relaxations, why not just sign a multidecade PWA that gives us a raise tied to inflation every year. This would stop opening the door to synergies, cooperative efforts, and all of the other negative things that have migrated in.
