B) They don't need more FAs because of the 739.
C) They don't seem to need more FAs because we have anything else on order.
D) They don't know yet if we're understaffed on pilots because it's not apparent and they need to analyze it. As in, can we still shuffle people around like out of the 767?
E) Will they really put new hires in ATL? Youth in ATL? No... can't be. BTW, how come FAs don't have a green on green policy. I've had some intriguing trips lately with 3 all new FAs.
F) I did notice a lot of the A321 parking spot markings are blacked out now.
It is likely FA hiring has not kept pace with attrition, but, there is not the pool of FA's on leave that have returned in the hundreds like our pilots have. As a result of improving contracts, vastly better bidding opportunities for some and the timing of events in military careers, we are going to see what, something like 500 to 600 total pilots, on the property who were not here when we merged?
Also, C2012 and new pilot rest rules have had a marginal effect to increase pilot efficiency going forward.
