It boils down to how many Delta pilots have jobs and how much to they earn. Success is very objective.
Justifications for failure tend to be subjective. Adding low cost bidders for management to choose from, instead of our MEC is a strategic blunder which will cost Delta pilot jobs and pay.
All of the above, you're absolutely right. What I am asking or suggesting is what if that is not how they measure success? And you can pound the desk and shout at the next LEC meeting but what if they're looking at a "bigger" picture?
Or put it this way- let us say DALPA saw the Pinnacle debacle as a big win. Knowing what you know about the Pinnacle happenings, what then would you say DALPA believes is a win?
And Bar don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to get you to agree with me on something. I'm just poking around to see what you think and whether or not there is more of a ALPA National orientation instead of the lowly "new hire" Delta line pilot orientation.
