Anyone have any suggestions of must places to go for eats, sightseeing, and/or great places to stay. Planning, of course, to run down to the Pike Place Market, but other than that, haven't ever been downtown Seattle. (Been to Ft. Lewis once, but would rather leave that experience in my past!)

Thanks for the reply.

Pike Brewery and pub, right there on the S side of Pike Place, is a great brewer that's won some gold medals for their Pike Ale.

Right above Pike brewery is a crepe place, which wives would likely love.

The original Starbucks is 3/4 way down the Pike Place market on the E side.

The Tap Room on 5th or 6th has 120 beers on tap or so.

July 4th fireworks at Lake Union. Last year the trolly ride to/from was free, and there were a bunch of bands playing, and some Beer Gardens. Can't remember if the beer was free or like $2, but very low cost in any case and fun.

The space needle and the aquarium are good also.
