I'm not blaming the pilots at one company. Everything I wrote applies to the entire industry. I have no problem with SkyWest pilots, like I stated clearly in my last post. Once again, I'm not blaming the SkyWest pilots. It's a regional airline industry phenomenon. This is simply one example of the phenomenon at work. We all complain about the "race to the bottom." Well, the only way to fix it is to stop racing.

They're trying. Horizon can't, because it's CPA flying for us too... There's no way to scope another company's flying. The Alaska guys tried to, but the company wouldn't even discuss it. They have a TA that most AAG employees hope gets voted down. We will see how that goes.
Nothing happens in a vacuum, though. It doesn't work if only one party in the situation is trying for industry-impacting improvements that should allow for pattern bargaining. I'll try to improve compensation at my airline, and you try to improve compensation at yours.
